Loreto hearts

Our Lady of Loreto - Feast Day December 10

Patron of airline pilots and attendants, Air Force personnel

The Litany of Loreto is a Marian litany that has been used as a powerful prayer since the mid-1500s. The litany contains many titles to honor the Blessed Mother and reflect on her unique and significant role in Christ’s life and our salvation.

We chose the heart as the iconic symbol of Mary’s love for us and God’s love for Mary, and the gemstone colors draw from the meanings of these colors in artwork throughout the centuries. The Loreto charms can be worn alone, or together as a physical reminder of prayer.

Mother, most pure symbolized by a clear white sapphire.

Mother of Divine Grace symbolized by a sparkling citrine.

Mother of hope symbolized by a deep Iolite.

Seat of wisdom symbolized by a bright peridot.

Virgin most powerful symbolized by a luminous opal.
