Mirror of Justice is a title for Mary, the Blessed Mother, found in the Litany of Loreto, a Marian litany that has been used as a powerful prayer since the mid-1500s. St. John Henry Newman beautifully reflects on Mary’s unique experience living with God closely for thirty years: “she must have had a vast incomprehensible sanctity…a sanctity of an angelical order, reflecting back the attributes of God.” This distinct reflection of God and His perfect wisdom is why she is called Mirror of Justice.
