Morning Star is an ancient title for Mary, Mother of Jesus. Beautiful, radiant, and joyful, the Blessed Mother lovingly guides us to her Son. The title comes from the Litany of Loreto, a Marian litany that has been used as a powerful prayer since the mid-1500s. Legend holds that Mary's original house was somehow transported to Loreto, Italy (perhaps even miraculously, by angels). The Litany of Loreto is a beautiful litany that asks for Mary's intercession using many of her titles.
